Humidity: Rookie mistake to ignore this important puzzle piece of the Sugaring service.
Don't ignore this variable when bringing on Sugaring to your service menu.
You might think the most important components of the puzzle when bringing on Sugaring will either be what brand of paste you'll carry, what cute client aftercare you'll retail, or even what color mat you'll opt for use on your treatment bed. But I'm here to tell you, before deciding on any of that, learn & don't ignore the humidity in your room. This is a monumental aspect of delivering successful sugaring services. Your paste will cooperate seamlessly with you & you'll be so happy & confident in your sugaring skills for not ignoring this important aspect of the service.

Too soft of a paste & you’ll have a sticky mess you can't seem to get unstuck from. Too firm of a paste in a cold dry room & you’ll feel like you're unnecessarily pulling & tugging at your clients skin & even worse, bruising them :(
By knowing the humidity in your room, you can decipher how the pastes will be behaving in your room so you can be prepared & knowledgeable on how to cocktail your pastes accordingly to work in harmony with your room environment.

A simple hygrometer will be able to tell you how dry or how humid your treatment room is.
The % will tell you. If the room is dry meaning anything under 20% humidity, you'll be better off with a softer paste. If your room is very humid or gets warm easily you might be better off with firm pastes on hand to be able to readily cocktail into your ball of sugar. A firmer paste will be able to hold better in a room that tends to get warm. Always have a fan on hand if this is the case.
Stay smooth, stay empowered!
