Today's post is going to be all about your Sugar balls!
Getting this right in the beginning of your Sugar career will save you a lot of frustration while you’re navigating through the learning curves of Sugaring.
If I had learned this way in the beginning, I would have avoided lots of messes & mistakes. So I’m here to help you cut the trial & error in half!
When you begin to Sugar you want to slowly work your way up to holding the Sugar. What I mean by this is practice holding your Sugar by only holding a Sugar ball about the size of a gum ball first! This will be completely new to your hand, your thumb, index & middle fingers. When you have it down (gum ball size) amount- graduate to practice holding the size of a golf ball. This won’t feel as foreign and by now after having practiced with a gum size ball first, your fingers, hand & wrist will already have that muscle memory.
What I don’t recommend doing is going straight into a Sugar jar, grabbing a Sugar ball about the size of a baseball & expecting to dominate your service when your lovely but inexperienced hand has not been prepared or worked up to it. This will inevitably cause a lot of fatigue on your fingers, hand, & wrist, frustration on your Sugar skills not developing fast enough & might lead you to completely question your Sugaring career altogether.
Trust me on this! Baby steps first. Truthfully no one really needs to do a service with a large Sugar ball unless you’re doing full legs or a large back, but even then you can get away with a smaller Sugar ball size. Hope this tidbit helps!
Remember: small steps lead to smooth results 💛
